FAQ
What makes hexarelin different from other GHRPs?
Hexarelin is the most potent GHRP by GH output per mcg. It also uniquely binds CD36 receptors in the heart, producing cardioprotective effects observed in research independent of its GH-releasing action. These cardiac effects are seen at lower doses (below 100 mcg) than the maximum GH-stimulating dose.
Why is the hexarelin cycle capped at 8 weeks?
Hexarelin produces more rapid pituitary desensitization than Ipamorelin or GHRP-2. GH response tends to diminish significantly after 8 to 12 weeks of continuous use. Cycles of 4 to 8 weeks followed by a washout period preserve receptor sensitivity.
Does hexarelin increase cortisol like GHRP-2?
Yes, hexarelin also stimulates cortisol and prolactin release, similar to GHRP-2. The effect is less pronounced at lower doses (50 mcg) but significant at 100 mcg twice daily. This is the main reason Ipamorelin is preferred for longer cleaner cycles while hexarelin is used for shorter high-output phases.
