Protocol Cognitive and Mood

Semax + Selank Nootropic Stack Protocol [2026]

Combine ACTH-derived cognitive enhancement (Semax) with anxiolytic neuropeptide modulation (Selank) for nootropic and mood research.

Semax
Dose: 300 mcg
Freq: Once to twice daily
Recon: 1mg + 1mL BAC
Conc: 1,000 mcg/mL
Draw: 30 units (U-100)
Calculate Semax dose
Selank
Dose: 250 mcg
Freq: Once to twice daily
Recon: 1mg + 1mL BAC
Conc: 1,000 mcg/mL
Draw: 25 units (U-100)
Calculate Selank dose
Phase 1
Weeks 1 to 2
Semax 300 mcg intranasal AM. Selank 250 mcg intranasal AM or early afternoon. Split to assess individual responses before combining timing.
Phase 2
Weeks 3 to 8
Both compounds twice daily: morning and early afternoon. Avoid dosing within 3 hours of sleep. Cycle 5 days on, 2 days off.
What is the difference between Semax and Selank?
Semax is an ACTH fragment analog that increases BDNF and upregulates dopamine and serotonin metabolism, producing stimulating nootropic effects. Selank is a tuftsin analog with anxiolytic and nootropic properties, modulating GABA and enkephalin systems. They complement each other: Semax for focus and drive, Selank for calm and anxiety reduction.
Can Semax and Selank be dosed at the same time?
Yes, many research protocols dose both intranasally in the same session. They act through different receptor systems and there is no known interaction. Some subjects alternate nostrils for each compound.
How long do Semax and Selank effects last?
Both have short intranasal half-lives of 30 to 60 minutes, but downstream effects (particularly BDNF upregulation from Semax) persist for several hours. Most protocols dose once to twice daily rather than more frequently.
Should Semax and Selank be cycled?
Most research uses cycling to prevent tolerance. Common structures: 10 days on, 10 days off; or 5 days on, 2 days off. Neither has established withdrawal effects, but cycling preserves sensitivity to the nootropic effects.
